  • I take a collaborative approach to teaching, meaning that I believe we can all learn best from one another rather than just from the instructor. Students' life experiences, thoughts, and beliefs are what give us initial topics in writing classes, and should therefore be explored in an environment of open thought, diverse opinion, and mutual respect.
